Professor Dan Cable, Chairman

Dan Cable is Professor of Organisational Behaviour at London Business School. Dan’s areas of teaching, research, and consulting include employee engagement, leading change, organizational culture and its effects on sustained competitive advantage, leadership development and mindset, and the linkage between brands and employee behaviors. 

Dan’s newest book, Alive at Work, published by Harvard Business School Press has just been released. His first book was Change to Strange: Create a Great Organization by Building a Strange Workforce. He also has published two edited books and more than 50 articles on culture and cultural fit, careers, and management in top academic journals. His most recent research was published in Harvard Business ReviewSloan Management Review and the Academy of Management Journal, and has recently been featured in the The EconomistFinancial TimesThe Wall Street JournalCNBCNew York Times, and Business Week. Dan is a two-time winner of the ‘Best Article in Organizational Behavior’ and is ranked amongst the ‘Top 25 Most Influential Management Scholars’ by Academy of Management Perspectives. 

Dan has worked with a broad range of organizations – from high-tech start-ups to the World Economic Forum. Recent clients include Carlsberg, Coca Cola, EY, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Ikea, McDonalds, MS Amlin, Prudential, PwC, Rabobank, Roche, Siemens and Twitter.

 

John Wills - CEO, Director Learning Solutions

John is  a leadership and strategy consultant and educator with 18 years’ experience delivering and designing executive development programmes for senior leaders internationally. 

Prior to joining Essentic, John held several leadership positions at leading Business Schools and Universities.  John  worked at the University of Reading’s Henley Business School as a member of the senior leadership team responsible for all custom executive education. John led the sales teams responsible for business development internationally.   John was a senior director in Executive Education at the London Business School where he directed the  Accelerated Development Programme, a globally recognised leadership programme.

John is also involved in executive development initiatives at Fortune 100 companies. John designs and implements fully customised learning solutions in the areas of general management, leadership, finance, marketing and strategy development. Clients include Bacardi Global Brands, Canon, Kimberly Clarke, Pitney Bowes, Galderma, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Novartis and Sanofi Aventis.

John received his MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in the UK,  with a focus  International Human Resource Management.

 

Ingrid Wills - COO, Director Client Experience

Ingrid Wills is a founding partner and Director of Operations for Essentic. Ingrid has been instrumental in the development of Essentic’s The Positive Method, as well as development and management of the Point Positive and 1Self assessments. Through the use of these tools, Ingrid has helped organizations create a culture of strengths based leadership – a culture that fosters employee engagement, collaboration, creative problem solving, resilience under pressure and a positive emotional connection with customers.

An internationally experienced operations management and business transformation specialist, prior to joining Essentic Ingrid developed and facilitated cultural orientation programmes for international business professionals and their families and also worked in the international insurance and risk management field. Clients include Deloitte Australia, MSAmlin, Standard and Poor, PwC, Harvard, London Business School, Sanofi, Ericsson, Vodafone, Jagex, Indivior, and YPO.
